She was a Rescue Puppy from North Shore animal shelter and she's a joy to be around except for when she wants her leash to go for a walk (then she can be a little pain in the butt). But I miss the sailing that I did with my parents. I used to sail with them for 10 days every July; we'd cruise to Newport & Block Island, RI. Then continue Cuttyhunk, a tiny island in the chain of the Elizabeth Islands, off the coast of MA. Then we'd head over to Martha's Vineyard, MA. A few days later I would board one of the ferries to Woods Hole, MA & take a Greyhound bus to New Haven, CT. There, Gene would be anxiously waiting to take me home. One time I had lost weight & became so tanned and toned-up that he didn't recognize me from the back! It was too funny... I enjoyed those trips with my parents for almost 20 years and have so many wonderful memories. I love summer, it's absolutely my favorite season... Havin' fun in the sun!
